MB&F Unveils the Sequel to Its HM8 Timepiece After 10 Years
Available in two colorways.
MB&F is revisiting its passion for automotive with the latest iteration of the HM8 model. Aptly named HM8 Mark 2, the watch is also the first automotive-inspired offering by the brand in a decade.
Described as a horologic machine by MB&F, the HM8 Mark 2 comes in an updated three-dimensional case design. The preceding HM8 featured an angular and almost skeletal-like frame, while the newly unveiled sequel is much sleeker, with more coverage and rounded edges. The supercar silhouette actually doesn’t conceal all the glorious inner workings of the Mark 2 that fans love about the HM8. In fact, you can still clearly see its 22k gold automatic winding rotor right under its transparent sapphire crystal.
More than just an automotive-inspired timepiece, the HM8 Mark 2 is also an actual driver’s watch. Fitted with lateral time displays that allow its wearer to effortlessly check the times when behind the wheel.
Available in white and green colorways, both options are encased in titanium with CarbonMacrolon® body panels with a 47mm case diameter. The green option is released as a limited-edition of 33 pieces, while the white is a non-limited launch. Priced at $78,000 USD, the HM8 Mark 2 is currently for inquiry over at the MB&F M.A.D.
