King Krule Gears up for New Album Release With "Flimsier"
With the album, titled ‘Space Heavy,’ releasing on June 9.
British musician King Krule has just dropped the opening single to his forthcoming album Space Heavy, which is due to release on June 9.
The new single to come from the album is titled “Flimsier,” and it’s the studio version of the original demo that circulated whilst the singer-songwriter was on his sold-out tour earlier this year. Coming with a new visualizer created by Krule’s long-time collaborator and brother, Jack Marshall, “Flimsier” comes hot on the heels of previous singles “Seaforth” and “If Only It Was Warmth.”
Krule’s new album, which is due at the end of this week, was written throughout commutes between London and Liverpool, the two places where the artist was dividing his time. The album tells the story of Krule’s fascination with the notion of “the space between;” the space haunted by dreams of love, lost connection, losing people, and situations to the guillotine of the universe.
