Drake's and Sebago Revitalize Classic Boat Shoes for SS23

Savile Row’s Drake’s has just presented a new collaboration with Sebago and the duo has unveiled an all-new boat shoe that combines Sebago’s New England craftsmanship with Drake’s contemporary excellence. 

The Dockside shoe has been around for decades now. It’s a shoe that defined the 20th century through its popularity seen throughout university campuses, while its clean-cut aesthetic has gone on to become a staple footwear option for those who live on the coast, or even for those who navigate the inner city when they’re at home. 

With this in mind, Sebago’s classic boat shoe design has now been given a modernized look by London’s Drake’s. The footwear collaboration was originally teased in Drake’s Spring 2023 lookbook, and now the official imagery sees the brand add paracord laces along with patchwork detailing that complements a slew of contrast hand-stitching and white eyelets.

Available in colorways of navy and white, the shoe is also hit with green and white side tabs that take inspiration from the decor surrounding the exterior of Drake’s flagship stores, while the same intricate detailing can also be spotted on the shoe’s insole.
