JOY Objects Launches Tangerine & Dream Line for Summer
Featuring its Bench One, Chair One and Stool One.
Swedish design entity JOY Objects has launched its new Tangerine & Dream line just in time for the Summer 2023 season.
The latest from JOY Objects utilizes its signature Bench One, Chair One and Stool One. However, the collection refreshes the pieces in every way – from materials to color. This time around, the pieces utilize Hydro CIRCAL-alu tubes and updated washers, which constitute a lighter weight and lower carbon footprint. But the most striking new detail about the three items is their vivid tangerine and dream hues.
“With Tangerine & Dream, I wanted to make something juicy and sweet for those long hot summer nights,” said Fredrik Paulsen, JOY’s design chief and co-founder. “If it’s good for your ass to sit on, it’s great for your mind when you’re drifting into sleep.”
The new Tangerine & Dreamline also begins the design entity’s relationship with Slam Jam – who will serve as the exclusive retailer for the line alongside JOY Objects. Ranging in price from €300 EUR (about $328 USD) to €500 EUR (about $547 USD), JOY Objects new Tangerine & Dream line is available online now.
Elsewhere in design, Home in Heven adds horns and tentacles to iconic Louis Poulsen designs.
