James Blake Announces New LP ‘Playing Robots Into Heaven,’ Shares Debut Single “Big Hammer”

James Blake is following 2021’s Friends That Break Your Heart with a new album. The English artist has announced that he’ll be putting out an LP entitled Playing Robots Into Heaven in September.
Slated to drop via Polydor and Republic Records, Blake gave fans their first taste of the forthcoming album on the new track “Big Hammer,” which is accompanied by a music video directed by Oscar Hudson.
To commemorate the release of Playing Robots Into Heaven, Blake will also be embarking on a headlining tour throughout the US, UK and Europe, beginning on September 18 in Milan, Italy. Following stops in Brussels, Paris, Berlin and more, he’ll perform in his home city of London at the Alexandra Palace.
