Barcelona's 2023/24 Home Jersey Pays Homage to the Club's Women's Team
Casting the club’s memory back to the first-ever women’s game played in 1970.
F.C. Barcelona and Nike have just presented their new home jersey for the 2023/24 campaign and it’s the club’s first-ever kit to be inspired by Barcelona’s women’s team.
As one of the most historic and successful clubs to ever play the beautiful game, Barcelona has been synonymously known for its broad stripes in original blaugrana colors since 1899. More of the same has been used this time around, however, the club crest has been set into a diamond. This new detail represents the first women’s team to ever play a game of football at the Spotify Camp Nou and stands for Barça’s pioneering spirit.

With this being said, the new jersey commemorates the historic event that took place in 1970 and stands as a strip that looks to pave the way for future generations. The jersey will also feature the men’s and women’s main team partner, Spotify, whose logo is applied to the front alongside customary Nike branding.
The new jersey also pairs authentic design details with lightweight and quick-drying fabric that keeps players cool and comfortable on the pitch. Crafted from 100% recycled polyester fibers, the jersey also integrates Nike Dri-FIT ADV technology that combines moisture-wicking fabric with advanced features to help ballers stay dry.
