Nike continues to expand its ever-growing lineup of basketball shoes. Up next is a silhouette that originally debuted during the 1996-97 NBA season as Penny Hardaway‘s second signature shoe. Following the release of the shoe in “Photon Dust” and a few collaborations including one with Stüssy, the Oregon-based company is releasing a general release colorway.

This time around, the Penny 2 takes on the classic black and white “Panda” color scheme. The shoe comes constructed in its typical mixed material makeup, featuring leather, nubuck and mesh materials. The upper sees the black and white color blocking where the suede panel and tongue is highlighted in black and other leather parts are detailed in white. The white also lands on the textured midsole while air brushed detailing is seen on the Swoosh branding. The shoe features dual pull tabs and the signature “Penny” branding on the tongues, heels and underfoot, as well as Nike Basketball motifs on the insole. To round out the design, the basketball high-top sits on a black rubber outsole.

Look out for the Nike Air Penny 2 “Panda” arriving in the coming months at select retailers and online at Nike for $210 USD.

In other footwear news, the Nike Air More Uptempo arrives in “Coconut Milk/Navy.”
