While the Nike Air More Uptempo is no longer the brand’s staple basketball sneaker, it is still widely considered one of the most iconic silhouettes. The shoe, which was designed by Wilson Smith, was originally debuted in 1996. The retro basketball high-top was always known for its exaggerated “AIR” lettering on the side and continues to be one of the most recognizable models. Nike is gearing up to release a new lineup of colorways for the summer season, revealing the Air More Uptempo in “Coconut Milk/Navy.”

The shoe is completely constructed in a full leather makeup and features its signature perforations on the sides for added breathability. Other features include the mesh tongues, which match the entirety of the upper, covered in the Coconut Milk hue. Midnight Navy highlights the “AIR” lettering on the side as well as the titular Swoosh branding. The shoe features white laces and rubber outsole while a full-length Air unit rounds out the design.

Look out for the Nike Air More Uptempo in “Coconut Milk/Navy” arriving soon in select retailers and online at Nike for $170 USD.
