Update: Manchester-based streetwear brand Drama Call has just presented some fresh imagery of its collaborative jersey with Manchester United Football Club.

Since the collaboration was announced — via a collection of co-branded adidas, Manchester United, and Drama Call posters around the city of Manchester — the collaboration has welcomed fresh imagery and content in dribs and drabs.

Most recently, an official trailer was posted, that showed Drama’s mascot link up with United’s Fred The Red Mascot. This was then followed by new lifestyle imagery, fronted by Mancunian creative and resident, @razzwaa.

Now, some more official imagery has surfaced and it sees the new Drama Call jersey flexed by Manchester United stars Alessia Russo, Leah Galton, and Marcus Rashford.

The kit is a reworked take on Manchester United’s classic blue 88-90’ away jersey with the shirt featuring the same design as the OG, however, Drama Call branding and the label’s sparkle motif hit the front of the shirt. Rounding off the design, a “Drama 1988 2023” graphic has been added to the back, replacing the generic name and number combo.

You can take a closer look at the latest imagery from Drama Call, Manchester United, and adidas above and the kit is set to release via the official Drama Call website at the end of May.

Original Story: It’s been just over a week since adidas, Manchester United, and Drama Call unveiled a slew of co-branded posters around the city of Manchester. Since, the collaboration has brought us an official trailer video and now, the trio has presented us with the first real look at a collaborative garment.

It’s been thought that the collaboration would bring a collection of co-branded garments that tap into Drama Call’s skate-ready DNA. Instead, this first look at the collection welcomes a new take on Manchester United’s away jersey from 1988.

And while more designs are expected to come from the collaboration in the coming weeks — such as Drama Call’s classic Trackeh silhouettes — this first look at the capsule includes the Manchester United crest and adidas branding on the chest, while the classic Sharp sponsoring is printed across the midriff.

Meanwhile, the new jersey is then complemented by Drama Call branding on the lateral side of the shirt, while the corresponding side is then hit with Drama’s sparkle detailing, a graphic seen consistently across the imprint’s tracksuit and T-shirt designs.

Rounding off the style, the jersey welcomes additional Drama branding on the back that sits alongside the years 1988 and 2023, creating a full-circle moment as Manchester United begins a new era while continuing to reminisce on the club’s golden history.

You can take a closer look at the new Drama Call x Manchester United collaboration above and be sure to keep up to date with further release details via Drama Call’s official Instagram page.
