Louis Vuitton and leather goods go hand-in-hand, and for its latest piece, the luxury French House looks back at its history to create the Biker Messenger bag.

Georges Vuitton had a penchant for automobiles and the automotive industry, often found designing products that specifically fitted early cars. Now, the House looks at the kinds of panniers and storage devices that were used on old automobiles to create its Biker Messenger bag — an asymmetrical design that reminds us of bike luggage.

Naturally, the piece comes in the signature monogram-coated canvas and cowhide leather, and it features various elements drawn from Virgil Abloh‘s tenure and lasting influence. Notably, the piece sports an orange leather bottle holster, in which is held a chrome silver monogram-engraved bottle.

The Louis Vuitton Biker Messenger bag retails for $4,750 USD and it can be purchased online now.
