Haeckels has teamed back up with DJ Kelly Lee Owens for a new collaboration. But this around, the Margate-based brand is launching its first fragrance in almost five years.

Titled “Scent08,” the fragrance was crafted as a totem of memory and looks explicitly at eight memories from he DJ’s life. Although the fragrance centers the London creative, the scent as a whole is meant to reveal the power of reflection and transportation that fragrances carry.

With notes of vetiver, wild lavender, basil, honey and coffee, Scent08 dives into Owens’ memories of growing up in Wales, bringing her music to the world and her experiences as a London creative. “This fragrance is something close to my heart – and what initially started out at creating a scent to accompany an album, has gone way beyond that,” said Owens. “The fragrance I created has eight notes that combine together to uplift, energize and then ultimately ground the wearer. This is therapy in a bottle.”

The limited-edition fragrance comes in Haeckel’s 15mL miniature bottle with its signature branding. Priced at £38 GBP (about $48 USD), Scent08 is available now online.
