adidas has just presented a brand-new addition to its Spezial family, introducing its new leisure-inclined Carnforth shoes.

The Spezial range has been open to experimentation for some time now. Following collaborations with the likes of Liam Gallagher, Joy Division, and C.P. Company on a slew of footwear silhouettes recently, adidas’ prized Spezial line also opens its doors to fresh apparel ranges, introducing various outerwear designs along with cozy jersey styles that are made to be mixed and matched with its sneakers.

With this being said, adidas’ new Carnforth shoes have been designed with a full-grain leather upper, while its rubber outsole is complemented by understated paneled detailing that is hit with further leather detailing across the customary adidas branding. Fabrications of suede are then used across the toe box and rounding off the design, leather is then used along the lateral sides, heel counters, and internal lining.

Furthermore, the new Carnforth shoes have also been designed to align with adidas’ plans to reduce its carbon footprint — this has been done through 20% of the pieces used to make the shoe’s upper being made with a minimum of 50% recycled content.

You can take a closer look at the new adidas Carnforth Spezial shoes above and they will be available to shop via the official adidas website from May 16.
