Bang & Olufsen has unveiled its limited-edition Beosystem 72-23, drawing inspiration from the warm and soft mood of a Scandinavian sunrise. Aptly named Nordic Dawn, the sound system is doused in honey, ginger, and amber hues, which come together with tonal touches of aluminum and birch wood.

Aside from its soothing color palette and design aesthetics, the focal point of the sound system is how it harmoniously incorporates analog and digital music formats. Starting with the Beogram 4000c turntable, accompanied by a pair o modern Beolab 28 stereo speakers for an immersive experience. The additional built-in Beosound Core and Beolab Transmitter ensure wireless connectivity, which instantly transports listeners to the modern world of digital music streaming.

Mads Kogsgaard Hansen, the Head of Product Circularity at Bang & Olufsen elaborates that “The Beosystem 72-23 is a testament to Bang & Olufsen’s dedication to extending the longevity of products in the consumer electronics industry. As part of the Recreated Classics Initiative, the Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn Limited Edition symbolizes a new beginning for a future where audio products are designed to last, where luxury is expert craftsmanship that expands beyond the first lifecycle, and where connectivity can be timeless.”

With only 100 pieces being made, the Nordic Dawn limited-edition Beosystem 72-23 retails for $65,000 USD at selected B&O stores across the US, Europe, and Hong Kong. Head over to the brand’s official website to inquire about store availability.
