Aries and Umbro Hit the Rugby Field for Latest Collaborative Capsule
Featuring cotton drill track pants along with corresponding cotton drill shorts.

London-based brand Aries has connected with Umbro for its second collaborative capsule, taking inspiration from the rough-and-ready sport of rugby for a totally British affair.
Over recent times, Aries has been keeping busy. From its fabulous Rhinestone-centric collaboration with Juicy Couture to sharing its love for America’s ’90s hip-hop scene with Tommy Jeans, Aries has proved time and time again, that experimentation can work wonders when it’s done right. And while Aries has also recently opened its new London-based flagship store, Umbro has been working hard, too.
Having just launched a new football-orientated upcycling initiative, the sports specialist has also unveiled further collaborative capsules with the likes of Slam Jam, MTV, and Palace. Now, Umbro’s latest work with Aries takes inspiration from the mud-stained and violent nostalgia attached to the sport of rugby.
Working in partnership with award-winning photographer, Elaine Constantine, the new campaign includes a slew of traditional rugby nuances throughout, while also integrating a collection of Aries’ classic dying techniques to bring the DNA of both Umbro and Aries together.
Starting with two classic rugby shirts, the collaboration also includes new cotton drill track pants along with corresponding cotton drill shorts, and deep navy rugby socks. Rounding off the capsule, both brands also present new rugby-orientated accessories such as a new mouth guard with customary Aries branding across the front.
