UPDATE: Aminé has shared a close-up look of his forthcoming New Balance 610 “The Mooz” collaboration. The kicks are equipped with brown and yellow uppers that are reminiscent of an aging banana. Iridescent hits poke out through the toe box, quarter panel and heel molds while a snowglobe “610” badge that bears a floating banana inside is situated on the collars. A co-branded Aminé x New Balance banner rests on the tongues and sits above a toggled lacing system. In addition, one of the rear tabs can be unclasped so that you can loop shoes together and make them easier to pack/carry around.

ORIGINAL ARTICLE:

After dropping his collaborative album KAYTRAMINÉ with Kaytranada earlier this month, Aminé is now shifting our attention back to his partnership with New Balance. He’s been a brand ambassador of the Boston-based sportswear imprint since 2022, and has announced that he will be officially receiving his own sneaker collaboration.

It was only a matter of time before this initiative was put into place given that Aminé has been featured in various campaigns New Balance campaigns and it has been noticeably experimenting with other musical artists like Action Bronson and Jack Harlow with various projects. At this time, we don’t know what silhouette will be involved in this launch, but the rapper has been often seen in silhouettes like the 990v3, 2002R and 992 so it would be safe to say that he’d put his spin on one of the brand’s popular Made in USA offerings. Aminé has kicked off the rollout of these sneakers by posting a promo video of his billboard in his hometown that exhibits wooden baskets of bananas next to the words “A Kid From Portland Has His Own Sneaker.”

Sit tight as we receive more details on this upcoming drop.
