Reigning Champ Looks to Uniforms for Conference & Side Stripe Series
Dipped in shades of dune and ivory.
Reigning Champ knows what to do when it comes to sportswear, whether it be simple offerings or something a bit more elevated. Now the brand is resting on the former with its new Conference & Side Stripe Series.
Minimalist, yet functional, the new limited-edition range looks to uniform-inspired striping to find its personality. As such, the short and sweet offering consists of eight items that span the gambit of needed sports attire – featuring long-sleeve tees, short-sleeve tees, 6” shorts and sweatpants. The range is then dipped in shades of dune and ivory, which also feature contrasting color orientations. Elevating the pieces are midweight cotton jersey and French terry fabrics that makes for a comfortable yet durable feel.
With versatility in mind, the pieces can be worn as coordinating sets or interchanged with other garments. This past June, Reigning Champ teamed up with Junya Watanabe MAN for a pop-art-inspired collaboration. Oriented for the SS23 season, the collaboration offered a new take on signature Reigning Champ staples like a hoodie, t-shirt and sweatpants.
