Acne Studios Introduces Its New Platt Crackle Bag For SS23
The latest update to its iconic bag accessory.
Acne Studios has officially released its new Platt Crackle Bag for the Spring/Summer 2023 season. In Swedish, the word “platt” means “flat,” giving the bag its literal name. The brand brings a new iterative update to the iconic single product, launching the Platt bag with a special cracked leather cowhide effect. The flatness of the bag almost gives the accessory a 2D-like minimalistic style. The classic rectangular shape features rounded edges and an extended strap .
The latest Platt Crackle Bag arrives in various sizes and silhouettes. The Crackle Bag is seen in a Mini size, Large size as well as a Crossbody. In comparison to the others, the Crossbody features a boxier silhouette, while also having an elongated shoulder strap and a flap closure. The bag itself is crafted out of suede leather, combined with a cracked finish and a tonal Acne Studios logo patch. The minimalistic design of the crossbody sees folds at the base and sides. There is also a decorative removable mirror inside.
The bag has a versatile shape that is already familiar in the elongated mini size and the larger, everyday size. Each of the Platt Crackle Bags are available in a greyish black, acid lime and dark beige. Constructed in high quality leather, the distressed look contrasts the soft sheen of the back, bringing out the brand’s ability to combine feminine and masculine elements with soft and hard detailing.
