Post Malone Delivers New Single "Chemical"
Marking his first solo single of 2023.
Post Malone has dropped off his first solo single of the year, “Chemical.”
Clocking in at approximately three minutes, the track is produced by Louis Bell, Andrew Watt and Posty himself, and hears the artist sing over a folk-based guitar background fused with faster, contemporary pop elements. Lyrically, Malone opens up about being unable to let go of a relationship and is begging for forgiveness, stating that their bond is “chemical.”
Posty’s last studio album dates back to June 2022’s twelve carat toothache, which featured guest appearances from Roddy Ricch, Doja Cat, Gunna, Fleet Foxes, the Kid Laroi and the Weeknd and went to debut at No. 2.
