Nike Air Max Plus Surfaces in "Sail/Team Red"
Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the silhouette.
After surfacing in a Spider-Man-like colorway earlier this month, the Nike Air Max Plus has now been revealed in smooth “Sail” and “Team Red” tones.
Continuing to celebrate the silhouette’s 25th anniversary this year, the upcoming pairs arrive in durable mesh uppers featuring a liquid red and tan exoskeleton said to be inspired by palm trees and custom jeweled Swooshes hand-drawn by designer Sean McDowell. Thick mudguards offer extra protection and collars arrive in nylon. Hexagonal tabs are fixed on the tongue, heel counter, and bottoms, and rounding out the look are Tuned Air sole units divided by a shank that echoes the shape of a whale’s tail.
