Ahead of women’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière‘s first Pre-Fall show for Louis Vuitton, we receive a special teaser cinematic teaser video prepping us for the event in Seoul. The house confirms that Squid Game creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk has designed an immersive set for the show which will be held on the iconic Jamsugyo Bridge in Seoul overlooking the Han River..

“Seoul is a vibrant city that is constantly changing. It has developed into a Milky Way that has a lot of influence in various fields,” says the narrator in the video. “Jamsugyo Bridge symbolizes the harmony where nature and city coexist as one. We are creating a lifestyle by bringing the citizens of Seoul together as one. In Seoul, the festival begins.”

LV worked closely with the Seoul Metropolitan city and Korea Tourism Organization to bring the project to fruition with several additional activations planned. Other collaborators for the show include French artist Philippe Parreno, and the house has invited 100 local fashion students from local schools to attend the show.

The Louis Vuitton Women’s Pre-Fall Show 2023 will begin on Saturday 29th April at 12 p.m. BST (7 a.m. ET). Live coverage will be available on the LV Instagram and website. Pieces from the collection are also available for pre-order exclusively on at louisvuitton.com from May 5, ahead of the launch on May 19.
