To celebrate its upcoming runway presentation as part of the “by R” project at Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO Fall/Winter 2023, TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. has unveiled a “9 collaborations” T-shirt series. The collaborative project sees designer Takahiro Miyashita tap a standout lineup of close brands, designers, and artists collaborators.
Offered in “Black” and “White,” the entirety of the series utilizes “ECOCYCLE®︎” T-shirts produced by US STANDARD APPAREL. The shirts are constructed of 50 percent organic cotton, certified by the NGO Better Cotton Initiative, and 50 percent recycled cotton with construction completely done at the brand’s Los Angeles factory.
Collaborators include – Blackmeans, HYSTERIC GLAMOUR, Mountain Research, NEPENTHES, NEIGHBORHOOD, UNDERCOVER, David Carson, Hiroko Shiraishi, and s⊀∃∣gh8⊤∣∩g (collaboration error jp/DJ Spy Balloon & Skatething).
Aside from being offered by Rakuten Fashion (March 10) and TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. (March 14), the “9 collaborations” T-shirt series will be available at a pop-up store at Shibuya PARCO, March 14-20.
