To celebrate the 20th-anniversary of the original Naruto anime, the series which debuted back in October 2002 will be receiving four new episodes. The official Naruto website made the announcement that selected episodes from the series will be airing in Japan beginning in July, followed by the new episodes coming in September.

Back in October, the animation studio, Studio Pierrot, shared a “Road of Naruto” video, a 10-minute retrospective showing key moments from the 20 years of the Naruto anime along with brand-new animation footage. Accompanied by three new visuals that highlighted the several eras of the series.

The website also announced that “Part I” of the current Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime will be coming to an end with Episode 293, March 26. Confirming that “Part II” has already been green-lit for production.
