From the popular XT-6 silhouette to GORE-TEX boots, Salomon has remained a contemporary mainstay of sports shows. Now the French brand has reunited with Japanese entity, and wander, for a new shoe offering.

Dubbed the ‘Jungle Ultra Low,’ the new silhouette gets its design personality from the jungle boot. Military meets minimalism with the shoe as it features a calm mixed-panel design in soft shades of gray. A standout of the silhouette is its sock-like design, which hugs the ankle for support and to keep out debris. Finishing off the shoe are subtle 3M specked detailing, a gray midsole, a white sole and Salomon branding.

Take a closer look at the shoe in the gallery above. Priced at ¥33,000 JPY (about $251 USD) the Salomon x and Wander ‘Jungle Ultra Low’ is set to release on Friday, March 24 on and wander’s online store and with select retailers.

In other news, Social Status and Nike are set to reintroduce the Mac Attack.
