It’s about to be another slip-on summer. Footwear ranges from Nike to Dior are offering options in laceless form at increasingly common rates. For the Swoosh, this includes the introduction of two classic sneakers — the Air Max 1 and Air More Uptempo — reimagined as slides. Last August, we received a first look at what an Air More Uptempo Slide would look like. Various colorways have popped up since, though without word of an official launch period.

Adding to the list of looks to keep an eye out for, a new “Aqua” presentation has now surfaced. Suitable for a sunny day at the beach, it arrives with the sneaker’s classic “AIR” lettering in white on top of a white strap bearing a pink embroidered Swoosh at its center. Its midsole goes from white at the toe to a light green at the midfoot and then toggles to sky blue around the heel. At its rubber outsole, white shares the space with black segments and a large pink Swoosh.

As of now, Nike has yet to announce the launch of the Nike Air More Uptempo Slide and this “Aqua” colorway. Stay tuned as the Swoosh may include it in this month’s celebration of Air Max Day as we expect pairs to be available soon via Nike and select retailers.
