Nike Air Max 1 Arrives With "Timeless" Detailing
Featuring nylon strap and retro fonts.
Nike has revealed the fourth silhouette from its forthcoming “Timeless” collection which currently includes an Air Force 1, Zoom Vomero 5, and Dunk Low. With each pair so far displaying its own distinct style, the Nike Air Max 1 “Timeless” once again shows little crossover from its sister models, arriving in clean white, grey, and cream tones.
Jumping out at first glance is the addition of a grey nylon strap that’s been secured across the laces via silver metallic buckles. Partially faded Nike Air Max 1 tabs decorate the tongue tabs while the white leather panels are finished with raw pre-yellowed edges. Other details include toe box perforations, mismatched pocket watch and globe motifs on the insoles, vintage “Nike Air” typeface on the heel, cream midsoles, and white traction outsoles. The pairs come in a special tri-tone shoe box with “Stay Timeless” branding as part of the offering.
