The New Woolrich x Goldwin Arctic Parka Jacket Is Designed For Exploring

Woolrich has connected with Japanese outwear brand Goldwin to present a brand-new Arctic Parka jacket that is designed for navigating the great outdoors.
Both Woolrich and Goldwin are masters in creating top-quality exploration pieces. For example, Woolrich’s recent “Guide to Winter” campaign unveiled a selection of styles that stayed true to the brand’s American roots, while also being designed to ensure they can tackle both mild conditions and extreme weather. For Goldwin, its Spring/Summer 2023 collection aligned itself with nature by providing a slew of technically-focused garments that strive to make outdoor excursions freeing and breathable.
Now, the duo’s all-new collaboration looks to combine the qualities of both labels through the use of new Spiber’s Brewed Protein fiber — this is a protein-sourced fabrication that’s made by a microbial fermentation process, using plant-derived sugars as its primary raw material, rather than fabrics that come from animals.
This has been used across the collaboration’s Arctic Parka and it covers all bases from technical pockets to heavy-set zippers that keep wearers cozy and prepared for challenging terrains and dangerous temperatures. Aesthetically, the jacket is designed with an all-black color scheme, while the customary co-branding from Woolrich and Goldwin can be spotted in white across the chest, back, and high-riding neckline.
Additionally, the jacket is also designed to be worn as a layering piece, offering plenty of internal room to be worn with a selection of jumpers, T-shirts, and warm accessories.
