Dukes Cupboard Unveils New Line of 'The Godfather' T-Shirts
Celebrating 50 years of the movie franchise.
Milo Harley and Ned Membery’s London-based vintage store Dukes Cupboard has just presented a new line of T-shirts, integrating classic graphics from the world-renowned movie franchise, The Godfather to celebrate the movie’s 50th anniversary.
While Dukes Cupboard has had its hometown of London in the palm of its hand for some time now with its vintage designs and pop-ups, the brand has recently been carving its lane overseas. Recently, the label has hosted pop-up stores in New York City and Amsterdam, offering everything from classic Avirex jackets to old-school Supreme T-shirts and never-seen-before Nike garments.
Now, Dukes Cupboard is continuing to offer universally-known styles with its new Godfather tees. Presenting the designs across white and black T-shirts, the first design features a close-up shot of Marlon Brando, aka Vito Corleone, while the white tee then features a wide shot of Brando, with the back of the tee featuring text play from the iconic movie that reads: “Politics and Crime — They’re The Same Thing.”
You can take a closer look at the new Dukes Cupboard x The Godfather collaboration above and the T-shirts will be available to shop via the official Dukes Cupboard website from March 31.
