Back in 2016, Jordan Brand delivered the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Pony” and reportedly continued to experiment with unique constructions. That same year, the Nike basketball division put together the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Woven.” The shoe that was built on the iconic AJ4 ultimately remained a sample and was never released to the public.

Coming courtesy of English Sole, we now have a detailed look at the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Woven.” The shoe expresses a sleek “Triple Black” look with woven uppers and matching leather overlays. Additional detailing comes in the form of leather wing flaps, tongue badges, Jumpman heel counters, and lining. Finishing up the design of the shoe are waxed laces and black sole units.

According to English Sole, the extremely rare pair that appears in the photos is just one of 20 pairs believed to be in existence.

Take a detailed look at the Air Jordan 4 Premium “Black Woven” above.
