Originally released back in 2008, Nike is now expected to re-release the Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin.” The special take on the classic AM1 was offered as part of the “Greatest Hits” pack and was accompanied by the Nike Air Stab “Runnin’ Gunnin” and the Nike Air Max 90 “King of the Mountain.”

The Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” is inspired by the OG Air Safari from 1987 and expresses a familiar mix of “Safety Orange/Black.” Staying true to the original 2008 release, the re-release will features orange leather upper bases accented by black leather, pony hair, and Safari print overlays.

Additional detailing comes in the form of midfoot Swooshes, “AIR MAX” tongue tags, “KEEP RIPPIN STOP SLIPPIN embroidered at the heels, printed insoles, and orange leather linings. Elevating the shoe are gray midsoles with large orange Air bubbles paired with black and translucent rubber outsoles that reveal a graphic print.

Expected to arrive during the Holiday 2023 season, take a look at the original 2008 release of the Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” above.
