Nike is preparing to release the Air Force 1 Low in a new “Black Stars” colorway. Arriving as a sleek option for the Summer 2026 season, the sneaker maintains the foundational design language of the iconic low-top silhouette while utilizing subtle, artistic adjustments to elevate the traditional all-black colorway.
The sneaker is styled in a clean Black and Metallic Silver color palette. Premium black leather constructs the majority of the upper, covering the toe box, panels, overlays, Swoosh, heel tab, tongue, and laces. Instead of relying on printed or painted graphics, the shoe incorporates distinct star patterns embossed directly into the leather material. This integrated execution allows the pattern to blend seamlessly into the structure, giving the shoe the appearance of a standard “Triple Black” colorway from a distance while revealing intricate detailing upon closer inspection.
Contrast is introduced sparingly to preserve the dark, stealthy aesthetic of the shoe. A small metallic silver lace dubrae, styled as a cutout in the shape of a star, rests at the base of the laces to add a sharp pop of color without overpowering the design.
