adidas Hyperturf Adventure Shield HQ6498 Release Date

Landing on shelves at the end of last year, adidas Originals introduced the Hyperturf Adventure. For the Three Stripes’ lifestyle division, it brought a new flair to its trail-ready Superturf Adventure that saw love from Sean Wotherspoon. In its brief time on shelves as the Hyperturf Adventure, it has already been reworked into a gaiter-equipped model and most recently, a slip-on style. Now, it doubles down on its protective ability with a new shield layer.

Named the Hyperturf Adventure Shield, its speed lacing system is tucked beneath a zip-up layer that sees the Three Stripes boldly wrap across its upper with a reflective silver finish. This “Matte Silver” is spread across its intricate design while hits of “Beam Orange” light up the look at its heel tab and rear portion of the adiPRENE+-backed midsole. Offering additional contrast, taupe coats the zip hardware and a portion of the otherwise brown midsole while a muted forest green chimes in at the tongue and heel. Lastly, the mudguard favors a perforated form that reveals its silver base.

For those interested in picking up a pair of the new adidas Hyperturf Adventure Shield, adidas has announced its release of the shoe. It is currently scheduled to land on the adidas website on April 1 at 10am EDT with a retail price of $160 USD.
