adidas Adds An Autumnal "Auburn" Arrangement to the ADIMATIC
Part of the revived silhouette’s SS23 lineup of colorways.
At the beginning of last year, adidas and its adidas Originals division decided to turn back time — revisiting the ’90s with the return of the ADIMATIC. Teaming up with atmos to celebrate its return, the bulky skate sneaker has been well-received, especially in Japan. Collaborations on the sneaker thus far have included touches from NEIGHBORHOOD, Melting Sadness, HUMAN MADE and more.
Now, for its SS23 selection of looks, an “Auburn” colorway has been prepared for launch. Its upper begins with a reddish-brown base in suede that offers a fall-esque finish that is complemented by a lighter brown shade at the laces. Its sizable Three Stripes and mudguard similarly don a soft suede while favoring a straight black hue that matches its heel branding and detailed midsole. Lastly, a gum sole puts the final fall touch on the pair.
Having hit shelves via select international retailers previously, the adidas ADIMATIC “Auburn” has been spotlighted by atmos Tokyo ahead of its March 4 release. Priced at ¥13,200 JPY (approx. $97 USD), pairs are up for lottery now.
