Bodega and BEAMS Join Forces With adidas for Ivy-Inspired Campus and ADIMATIC Collabs

Both shoes — and their accompanying apparel — offer playful twists on traditional ivy style.

Ivy style is one of the most enduring looks of the last century, a preppy, polished private school aesthetic that was birthed by East Coast elites, revamped and revitalized by the Japanese, rocked by everyone from Miles Davis to JFK and Andre 3000 and, currently, is enjoying a renaissance in mainstream culture. Like any stylistic movement, ivy has ebbed and flowed over the past several decades — and it’s those ebbs and flows that have inspired Bodega, BEAMS and adidas‘ new collaboration: fresh takes on the Campus and ADIMATIC plus special Bodega x BEAMS apparel.

In moniker and shape alike, the Campus is the perfect choice for this capsule. It’s dressed in hairy grey suede with alternating brown and white details, plus gold foil stamps and a co-braded BEAMS/Bodega detail hidden among its lateral stripes. On the other hand, the ADIMIATIC is a more cheeky take on Ivy style. Oiginally a skate silhouette, its puffy build and giant Three Stripes graphic are all streetweaer, but its crisp sail, white, gum and kelly green color scheme are Ivy to the core.

The apparel isn’t some standard half-hearted sweatshirt and T-shirt capsule to accompany the shoes either. It’s a full Ivy uniform, including everything from a blazer and button-up shirt to chinos and a tie. If that’s a bit too formal for you, there are also co-branded tees, a snapback and two sock options as well.

If you’re looking to “Take Ivy,” you’ll be able to do so come March 10 when the collection touches down on Bodega’s webstore.
