Connecting with the NBA again ahead of this year’s All-Star Games, WIND AND SEA‘s latest “The Road to Victory” collaboration takes it back to the feeling of the late ’80s and early ’90s, when historic NBA rosters fought tooth and nail to create legacies that resonate to this day. The upcoming series draws details from retro basketball uniforms and warmup gear, merging those influences into wearable silhouettes for daily life.

Selected to represent the golden era are six legendary teams including the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, and Phoenix Suns. The motifs are carried across a number of complimentary pieces including collared varsity jackets, see-through mesh jerseys representing training bibs, half-button pullover sweaters, team sweatshirts featuring classic lettering, heavy cotton shorts, and tearaway warmup joggers. Other highlights include leather jackets and denim pieces featuring jacquard prints and patchwork logos of all six teams.

The WIND AND SEA x NBA capsule is set to release on the WIND AND SEA website on February 12 at 12 p.m. JST (February 11 at 10 p.m. EST). Take a look at the campaign video below.
