Dwyane Wade Channels Sleek Off-Court Style in New Versace Eyewear Campaign
Showcasing three ornate gold-detailed frames.

The arrival of Versace’s eyewear campaign sees the introduction of its latest ambassador Dwyane Wade adorning three frames from the luxury house’s new collection.
Shot by acclaimed photographer Mario Sorrenti, the visuals take on a classic high-fashion look, where the basketball star’s refined style echoes the essence of the new eyewear range. Versace specifically focuses on three bridged styles – including two sunglasses and one optical frame – offering new interpretations of its iconic Medusa symbol.
In a style closest to Wade’s bold eyewear taste, the special project angular frame comes modeled to an oversized aviator shape with gold detailing. The design centers around an embossed Medusa on the thick bridge and temple plaques, of which come in alternative colorways including white and more pared-back black. A slight remodel of the rim shape lends to the more rounded aviator model, arriving in gunmetal gray or gold on black plaques.
The final set featured in the campaign is the optical version of the initial aviator frame. Similar to the sunglasses model, this frame adopts a geometric shape supported by a double edged temple. The optical glasses maintain the timeless color palette, dropping in gold, gunmetal gray and black metals.
