Ulysse Nardin has unveiled the Blast Tourbillon Blue & Gold, the first of its series to be rendered in this colorway. Dedicated to contemporary explorers, the Blast Collection debuted in 2020 as an embodiment of the brand’s “Haute Horlogerie is an everlasting adventure” philosophy.
The Blast Tourbillon Blue & Gold possesses all the quintessential characteristics of its counterparts, from the iconic double X-shaped tourbillon cage and movement bridge to the hallmarked three lugs that are perfectly planted within the strap. Attired in a 45mm case featuring alternating rose gold and blue PVD titanium, this particular colorway has been dubbed as “explosive and innovative” by the brand.
Inside the timepiece, the in-house skeletonized movement Calibre UB-172 with silicium escapement powers the watch with a running time of 72 hours. To match the colors of the case, blue velvet rubber strap and rose gold and blue PVD titanium folding clasp complete the piece.
Retailing for $67,000 USD, the Blast Tourbillon in Blue & Gold is available via the brand’s own boutiques and select retailers. Visit the Ulysse Nardin website for the full stockist list.
