Earlier this week, LeBron James knocked down a fadeaway jumper from the top of the key against the Oklahoma City Thunder which allowed him to break the record previously held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and hold the new NBA all-time scoring record. It’s undoubtedly one of the most significant accomplishments of The Kid from Akron’s career, and so to celebrate, Nike and The Shoe Surgeon linked up to assemble a special pair of kicks: the Nike LeBron 20 “The Moment” colorway.

The one-of-one iteration is brought to life with a myriad of special details and materials. Base layers are predominantly engineered with luxe white crocodile skin and is accented by more crocodile textures atop the Swooshes and interior liners that shimmer with metallic gold finishes. Carbon fiber midfoot shanks split their decor between white-to-gold gradients in the heels and a collection of images and numbers that reference James’ illustrious career. The latter features championship ring icons, his signature “L23” logo and various dates that mark his wealth of point milestones. If you look underneath the kicks, the see-through outsoles house “+38,388” hits to indicate that while he officially holds the throne, his journey is far from over as he’s got a handful of years in the league left to play. Additionally, the kicks were packaged in a special white marble box that is debossed with his signature crown logo.
