‘Call of Duty: Warzone II’ Showcases Deep Dive Into New Map, Ashika Island
Launching on February 15.
Call of Duty is rolling out the highly-anticipated map of Ashika Island in Warzone 2.0. Known as the Isle of the Sea Lion, the new map pits players on an archipelago in an undisclosed part of the Asia Pacific.
Beginning on February 15, the second season of Warzone will offer an exciting but dangerous lineup of lookouts and ruins to explore. In addition to part of the island being used for agricultural and industrial purposes, there’s the northwest Comms Tower, one of three scattered throughout the island.
Nearby is North Beach, which segues into the main island and can be followed to the east to access the Water Treatment Facility. A large agricultural facility, meanwhile, is composed of a yard, loading facility and eight different greenhouses where fruit and vegetables are grown.
As for major points of interest, the town center features access to a ferry terminal, from which a steel jetty shuttles to and from the island. The terminal is situated alongside bridges crossing the island’s canal, leading into the City Hall, Tourist Center and more.
