Shot in Morocco, the campaign highlights the label’s statement silhouettes in the Medina.

Following its inaugural drop last month, Amsterdam fashion label Daily Paper has returned with the second installment from its Spring/Summer 2023 collection, titled “Under The Same Moon.” Inspired by North African culture, this latest heritage-inspired delivery debuts in Morocco, with a campaign that captures the label’s striking designs in the Medina’s narrow streets, shot by Muziflow.

Where the first drop leaned into sophistication, with a jacquard suit and a padded gilet, Daily Paper’s second SS23 drop is much more relaxed. Made with semi-sheer fabric, the Pascal Shirt and Pax Shorts don illustrations by Yasmin Elnour, whose works reflect on a contemporary Sudanese identity. For the collection, Elnour’s custom-made mycelium, velvet print depicts a plant network, representing nature’s interconnectivity and societies’ coexistence.

Elsewhere, the relaxed-fit Petiri Shirt is a collection centerpiece, arriving in contrasting samba red and bosphorus green. Made from soft cotton, the silhouette is decoratively knitted with an all-over shield construction. The Paithon Boxer Shorts adopt the same tones, boasting a silky appearance with star embroidery and a reenvisioned Daily Paper emblem.

Closing the range, a two-toned Daily paper monogram rib-knit pattern commands a refined and form-flattering Panila Knit Set. Socks, bucket hats and caps return in bold iterations, while swimwear has a revival in both absinth green and signature Moroccan red.

The second drop of Daily Paper’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection will be available globally online on the brand’s website, at select retailers and in Daily Paper stores on Friday, February 10 at 5 a.m. ET. Prices range from $20 USD to $190 USD. Take a look at the collection in the gallery above.

In more fashion news, Phoebe Philo will launch her namesake fashion label in September.
