Slam Jam and Clarks Originals Connect for Collaborative Wallabee Silhouette

Slam Jam and Clarks Originals have connected to present a collaborative Wallabee shoe and it draws inspiration from Slam Jam’s archive and a picture its founder Luca Benini took in the lands of Egypt.
For Clarks, its famous Wallabee silhouette has stood as a canvas for experimentation for some time now. For example, recently-unveiled takes of the shoe have come in the form of its Packer collaboration, its skeleton-covered Vandy the Pink iteration, and even a slip-on silhouette that was introduced during the backend of 2022.
Now, the Wallabee has been reimagined by Slam Jam — who are also working fresh off the back of an impressive collaboration with Umbro — and it shows its love for the early 1980s two-tone scene in the UK. With this in mind, the new design has been complemented with a two-tone makeover, merging shades of black and white to create a trippy upper that sits atop a blacked-out sole unit. Additionally, the shoe also pays homage to the seminal band Madness and its hit record, “Night Boat to Cairo.”
You can take a closer look at the new Slam Jam x Clarks Originals collaboration above and the shoe will be available via the official Slam Jam website from February 25.
