Loro Piana Balances Fine Luxury and Pragmatic Function in New FW23 Collection
Placing heritage fabrics at the heart of the offering.

Loro Piana is tailoring its luxury craftsmanship to the active lifestyles of modern individuals. Altering signature forms for contemporary functionality, it presents a Fall/Winter 2023 collection that boasts versatility without compromising on style.
Mirroring the free-spirit of the roaming “Loro Piana man,” the new range is inspired by diverse landscapes across the globe. From Peru to Australia and New Zealand to Mongolia, each setting not only lends aesthetic themes to the respective garments but pays homage to the different countries that produce its fine fabrics.
At the forefront of the collection, a combination of alpaca wool and leather are placed in loosely structured garments such as double breasted overcoats, minimally-designed carcoats and chunky knitwear. As well as creating a classic look, the rich fabrics that make up these pieces present breathable-yet-hard-wearing qualities. For this drop, Loro Piana also looks to the varying seasonal climates across the globe, constructing a technical array of outerwear, mid-layers and trousers. It is complete with lightweight jackets where the Italian brand introduces weather-proof bombers and blousons in tones of beige and red which maintain a smarter look.
Shearling coats, boxy denim-style jackets, chevron weave jumpers and other more luxurious items in the range incorporate recent innovations with cashmere – including CashDenim and Cashfur. When paired together, the assorted layers provide unparalleled warmth and comfort. Rounding off the collection, the Italian brand incorporates black loafers, scarves and wool caps to accessorize the luxury pieces.
