Maurice de Mauriac Unveils the L3 Gold Edition
Available in five different dial iterations, each limited to one example.
Maurice de Mauriac, the Zurich-based watchmaker, has recently launched the L3 Gold Edition, a limited series of five unique watches. The series stands out for its individuality, with each of the five watches being one-of-a-kind, featuring a precious red gold case, complemented by distinctively colored dials.
Dial iterations include Emerald Green, Cherry Blossom, Opalescent White, Spheric Blue and Spheric Brown. The uniqueness of each piece is further amplified by the option for buyers to select between manual-wound or automatic bespoke movements, tailored to their personal preference and requests.
Leonard Dreifuss, Maurice de Mauriac’s brand director and son of its founder Daniel Dreifuss, shared “At the end of a significant year for our family and about to enter an Olympic year, we wanted to come up with a highly symbolic and rare series with added value that could link the owner to the next generation. Grandparents and parents can wear any of the L3 Gold Edition unique pieces and pass it on to their grandchildren or children, championing family values.”
Notably, each watch undergoes a rigorous casting, grinding, and hand-polishing process. Additionally, each watch receives official stamps from the precious metal control in Biel, Switzerland, signifying the brand’s commitment to Swiss craftsmanship.
The L3 Gold Edition Series is available to shop now, via Maurice de Mauriac’s official site, with handwound examples priced at 14,200 CHF or $16,590 USD and the automatic version priced at 14,700 CHF or $17,175 USD.
