The Nike VaporMax Moc Roam Appears in Maroon
A wine-flavored finish for the new silhouette.
It’s been over six years since Nike debuted the Air VaporMax as a key new lifestyle offering. Various iterations of the sneaker have released since then, with 2023 marking the debut of its latest look — the VaporMax Moc Roam. It’s quietly been revealed in all-black and “Light Stone” colorways with a new wine-flavored finish as the most recent.
The slick silhouette returns with its laceless build that utilizes pull tabs at both the tongue and heel. Its synthetic upper utilizes a reinforced mudguard in dark maroon while the remainder of the upper leans on a softer red hue to complement it. Black enters the mix at the lateral heel, where a small Swoosh is positioned. It also appears at the sole unit, which notably includes a translucent Air unit situated at the heel of the sneaker. As with all colorways of the design, it’s expected to be created with at least 20% recycled content by weight.
At the time of writing, Nike has not shared any release information pertaining to the VaporMax Moc Roam in this maroon color arrangement. Stay tuned for updates as it’s likely to launch in the coming months via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $220 USD.
