'Dune: Part Two' Delivers Third Official Trailer
The film is slated to premiere in theaters on March 1, 2024.
As Dune: Part Two‘s 2024 release approaches, Warner Bros. is amping up fanfare with the release of the third official trailer for the film. Directed by Denis Villeneuve, the big-screen epic is set to star Timothée Chalamet in the role of Paul Atreides, who has the unknown universe’s fate in his hands.
Per the official description, Dune: Part Two will “explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a path of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family.” Ultimately, Atreides faces the choice between his love for Chani and the fate of the world, as he looks to stop a “terrible future” that only he can see.
In addition to Chalamet, the cast includes Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Dave Bautista, Christopher Walken, Léa Seydoux and Souheila Yacoub, with Stellan Skarsgård, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem.
Villeneuve directed the movie from a screenplay, which he co-wrote alongside Jon Spaihts, based on Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel. Executive producers include Joshua Grode, Herbert W. Gains, Jon Spaihts, Thomas Tull, Brian Herbert, Byron Merritt and Kim Herber.
