Thundercat Announces 'Apocalypse' Re-Release, 'Apocalypse 10-Year Edition'
Reissuing his sophomore album in honor of its 10 year anniversary.

It’s been ten years since Thundercat dropped his sophomore studio album, Apocalypse, back in July of 2013. To commemorate a decade of the monumental LP, the revered bassist is set to release Apocalypse 10-Year Edition early next year.
While the OG Apocalypse includes twelve tracks, two new tracks are set to appear on the re-release, per Consequence: “Before I loved myself ‘I’ pooped my ankles (true)” featuring Taylor Graves and Thundercat’s late collaborator, Austin Peralta, and “Paris” featuring Mono/Poly.
The re-release sees a new deluxe vinyl iteration of the record as well: a limited-edition translucent red vinyl, complete with a deluxe rainbow holographic sleeve and gold foil detailing. Check it out in the Instagram post above.
Apocalypse 10-Year Edition follows the reissue of Thundercat’s debut album, The Golden Age of Apocalypse, which celebrated its 10th anniversary back in 2021.
