AMC Theatres has officially unveiled its commemorative Dune: Part Three Popcorn Buckets, following up on its viral sensation with two brand-new collectible vessels. Arriving ahead of the sci-fi trilogy’s theatrical finale, the cinema chain is introducing a couple-friendly “Double Sandworm” container alongside an interactive “Sandworm Thumper” design.
The “Double Sandworm” collectible re-engineers the viral silhouette by featuring two sculpted Shai-Hulud openings designed specifically to make sharing popcorn easier between two moviegoers. Complementing the dual-worm build is the “Sandworm Thumper” collectible, which integrates a functional mechanical design modeled after the rhythmic desert devices used by the Fremen to pound the sands of Arrakis and summon the colossal worms.
Beyond the primary buckets, AMC’s tie-in merchandise capsule introduces an Atreides-Fremen light-up cup, a Spacing Guild Navigator cup, mystery collectible keychains, and a dedicated Sandworm plush. The release represents a major cornerstone in theater concessions, with AMC projecting over $100 million USD in revenue this year from themed novelty vessels. The collectibles will arrive alongside the theatrical debut of director Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three, which stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Florence Pugh, and Anya Taylor-Joy.
