UPDATE: Official imagery of the UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 collection – dubbed “INFINITE WONDERS” has surfaced. Readying for an imminent release date, the most popular model in the Gel Kayano series takes three colorways in the striking collaborative range of footwear.
Sneakers come in three distinct color schemes: “Dark Shadow/Pure Silver,” “Bright White/Jet Black” and “Posy Green/Bottle Green.”

UNAFFECTED x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 will retail for $200 USD and land exclusively on the ASICS webstore. Expect to be able to cop a pair beginning on November 24, 2023 at 11 a.m. PST per the “expected arrival” date on the ASICS site. The sneakers will also be available at HBX starting December 11.

ASICS continues to flex its collaborative muscle as it now teams up with Korean label UNAFFECTED on the GEL-KAYANO 14 in three tasteful colorways. Previously, the silhouette has served as a canvas for sought-after releases including last year’s JJJJound collaboration that landed in many “shoe of the year” considerations for 2022. As ASICS’ brand visibility remains on the rise — particularly within fashionable crowds — its list of partners climbs.
Joining the mix, UNAFFECTED now teams up with the Japanese footwear brand in crafting yet another street-ready look on the GEL-KAYANO 14. Ranging from “Emerald Green” to “White” and “Silver” colorways, the duo has struck a balance — one common with ASICS footwear as of late — that offers eye-catching attributes without going too far. Black hops in the mix on all three to bring the colors together, cementing each pair as a complement to many color palettes. Considering the silhouette, the GEL-KAYANO 14’s mesh base, synthetic overlays and geometric sole unit return alongside a unique thin cord lacing system that extends to the toe box.
As of now, little details regarding the collaboration’s release are known. As part of UNAFFECTED’s FW23 presentation, pairs are likely to land on shelves this fall, possibly as an Asia-exclusive launch. Stay tuned as we await official word from both parties.
