Nike is bringing back the Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” with a brand new look.

The newest version of the shoe, which first debuted in 2008, arrives with a grey mesh base along with overlays of beige suede by the medial and black hairy suede mudguards. Branding can be found on the panel swooshes, which are covered with a black hairy suede to match the mudguards, as well as the Nike Air Max tongue tag and a small embroidered check along the mudguard. What elevates this classic silhouette, however, are the red “KEEP RIP’N” and “STOP SLIP’N” embroideries on the heel, with one phrase appearing on each shoe. The sneaker rests on a white midsole and grey and maroon outsole, with black laces tying the shoe together for a clean finish.

Check out the iteration above. The Nike Air Max 1 “Keep Rippin Stop Slippin” is set to release on November 28 via Nike and select retailers for a retail price of $160 USD.

Elsewhere in footwear, this Nike Air Max 1 ‘87 incorporates more minimal branding.
