Suicoke and Midorikawa Release Furry "FiveFinger" Shoes
The third release of its Vibram powered shoes in their most wild form yet.
Japan-based Suicoke and Midorikawa have teamed up again, this time to release a third range of their “FiveFingers” shoe, this time covered in faux fur — seemingly inspired by Big Foot and just in time for spooky season.
Following the release of a few non-fur pairs earlier this year, these four turn the wild up a notch, with the Green and Purple fur pairs featuring painted toes, in contrast to two low-cut offerings in Ivory and Gray fur. Like past releases, each of the shoes features Vibram’s MEAGAGRIP outsole technology and acts as a functional pair of outdoor shoes.
Retail for the hi-cut models are set at ¥37,400 yen or $250 USD each, with the low-cut examples priced at ¥35,200 yen or $235 USD. All four pairs are expected to be released on October 18 via Dover Street Market Ginza, VELVET and Suicke’s official site.
