With Halloween just around the corner, spooky season is in full effect — embracing this, ASICS has revealed the GEL-LYTE III “Superstition,” dropping today, Friday the 13th.

The pair is said to draw inspiration from various supernatural beliefs, like Friday the 13th and black cats crossing your path. Its upper is constructed using reworked pigskin suede and hairy suede overlays in “Phantom/Mid Grey,” with “XIII” embroidered on the split-tongue in a high-visibility yellow color.

ASICS’ “Superstition” also comes equipped with multiple lace options, including frayed laces and multi-color rope laces. Additionally, as has become expected from the silhouette, it comes with the brand’s trademarked GEL technology in the heel to provide comfortable wear.

The ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Superstition,” will be available later today via ASICS’s official site for a retail price of $130 USD.

In other footwear news, Mizuno and Graphpaper collaborate on fourth installment with “Mountain View” WAVE PROPHECY β2.
